It is cold outside. Are you looking for a more efficient or perhaps greener ways to heat your home? Then you should consider a pellet stove. Pellet stoves burn pellets made from wood chips, bark, and compacted sawdust. Besides the ease of using a pellet stove, which you light with the touch of a button, they are very efficient, produce very little waste, can be installed on any outside wall even if there is no chimney, and they use inexpensive fuel. Many models of pellet stove also qualify for the energy tax credit of up to $1500.

Wood-pellet stoves have an average efficiency rating of 80- to 85%. For those of you who do not know, this is very high!
